Women and youth Empowerment

We mainstream gender in climate action, foster tree nurseries, and create safe spaces for marginalized communities to participate in climate-related activities. Our initiatives include leadership training programs specifically designed to empower women and youth in environmental decision-making processes at local and national levels. We also provide mentorship and networking opportunities to support the development of young environmental entrepreneurs and advocates.

Key Interventions:

• Launch a Women in Conservation mentorship program
• Establish a Youth Environmental Leaders Network across Nairobi, Nakuru, Laikipia, Kajiado and Kiambu
• Create an annual grant competition for youth-led environmental projects
• Develop a series of leadership workshops focusing on environmental advocacy and policy
